geek is good
Wednesday, October 17th, 2007yay, yay! My wonderful resident tech support fixed my blog (and in about 10 minutes, too)! Hopefully, everyone that was having problems commenting before can now do so. It’s working better for me, too. I no longer have to use IE to comment on my own blog.
My new business entity is now official - the site isn’t up and running yet, and I still have a lot to do. But, at least most of the paperwork is done. It’s a step in the right direction, anyway. I’ll post a link when I get something worth looking at on the site. Here’s a little sneak peek at some of the designs I’ve been working on.

This weeks question: When you are involved in something creative, does the rest of your day seem to flow better?
My take: I always knew I liked to make art, but I never realized how happy it makes me until I recently started a collaborative project with a friend which 1- got me to actually work on an art project, and 2- enabled me to stretch myself a little artistically (shadow puppets aren’t something I’ve ever done before). I noticed that my mood and patience level at home were instantly improved - it took me by surprise! Even when I only worked on the project a couple hours a week, the whole week seemed so much better. So I’m thinking, hey, I need to uncork my creativity bottle a little more often. Yeah, I could live with that.
