I just wanted to post a little something that I did recently. The birds are intended for use on one of my wedding invitation designs. I really like the way they came out, so I’ll probably use them on some other things as well. Maybe some notecards.

Creativity Question: Have you ever been surprised at an unexpected source of inspiration?

When I started taking design classes, I was amazed at the flow of ideas for art pieces (not design pieces) that came into my mind. It had been so long since I had spent any time on creative thinking, it felt as if the flood-gates had been suddenly opened. It was exhilarating.
