thank you!

Thanks, Beckbot, for giving me something to post about. I am working on another wire sculpture, but I’m not finished yet and was wondering what to post in the meantime (oh man! I forgot to take a photo of the hooded towel I made for a baby shower! Why didn’t I think of that?)

OK - so I’ve filled out a couple of these recently, so I won’t tag anyone this time.. I have a little bit of time (ha ha) and I like that it’s kind of a slice out of everyday life:

I was living in a tiny house in NJ with 2 small cherubic children, a super-tight budget, and lots of faith. It was hard, but good.

5 Things on my To-Do list Today…
exercise (check! - trying to get back in shape - HARD work)
go to the school and help gather children for the Suzuki violin class
go to my friend’s house and help her with the twins
try to squeeze in a little nap (was up WAY to late last night) and a little design time
family night

Snacks I enjoy…
Cheez-It’s (white cheddar this time)
SO Delicious soy ice cream sandwiches (these are REALLY good)
red seedless grapes (I love it when they pop as I bite them)
popcorn (white, popped in stove-top popper) with salt and nutritional yeast sprinkled on
chocolate-hazelnut Pirouline or Almond Roca- I tell myself “no”, but it doesn’t work
whatever else is in the house (except pretzels and most chocolate things), so I have to be careful what I buy

Things I would do if I were suddenly a billionaire…
faint
pay off all debts, and our parents’ debts
put some money away for kids’ college & missions + savings
start some kind of a scholarship fund
learn more about natural healing and help teach others
try to put it to good use - help people realize their potential

3 of my Bad Habits…
I’m too impatient
I don’t keep up with the laundry very well
I allow myself to become distracted too easily

Jobs I’ve had…(I’m not listing ALL)
mail room clerk (opening and sorting mail - blah!)
customer service phone rep
bead shop cashier
mom - this is by far the most challenging

5 Things people don’t know about me…
sometimes I purposely re-arrange schedules, etc. to avoid driving certain places
I often battle feelings of loneliness and depression
beautiful violin music brings me to tears
nature and art can do the same - overflows my emotions
It bothers me when parents don’t discipline their children, they spoil them, or they over-schedule them

I don’t keep up with the laundry very well either. I’m good about washing it. I’m not so good with the folding and putting away part.

This was a fun post. It’s always fun to learn new things about someone.

I love that you said ‘faint’ if you had inherited billions. I probably would do that to. :)

I had no idea you had problems with loneliness and depression. But you are an artist and for some reason I think all forms or artists have to battles those 2 things. But then so do most people. Ok I will stop rambling now! I miss you!
